JoanDIGGLEJoan's family would like to thank everyone who gave help and support during the last few difficult weeks. Thank you to the emergency ambulance crew for their care and thoughtfulness to both of us and to Southport Hospital A & E resus team for their relentless care and kindness. Huge appreciation to the group on Observation behind A & E who could not do enough for Joan and who attended to the needs of her family and friends with such kindness, and to the Queenscourt palliative care team. We really appreciated Fr Atli's care during Joan's final illness and especially the lovely Requiem Mass. Our thanks to Michael Rushton of M Rushton Funeral Directors for help and support second to none throughout the last couple of weeks especially on the day of the funeral, and to Cooksons for their lovely flowers. Thanks also to Dobbies for the lovely tea and being so friendly and adaptive. Above all thank you to Joan's amazing group of friends who have supported and helped not only over the last couple of weeks but over the last eighteen difficult months and for all the kind expressions of sympathy.
